COVID-19: Nigeria Records 513 New Cases, Three Death Tuesday

Nigeria has recorded three additional fatalities from the coronavirus pandemic with 513 fresh cases confirmed across 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This was contained in an update shared on the Facebook page of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday night, which also revealed that the total infection from the pandemic currently stands at 202,704.
The center added that the fatality toll has increased to 2,664, while a total of 190,370 Nigerians have been discharged nationwide.
Breakdown
A breakdown of the NCDC data revealed that lagos state led the chat with 132 news cases, higher than the 86 cases it recorded the previous day.
FCT however, took the second position with 80 cases, while , Rivers, Kaduna, Edo, Ondo and Delta, recorded 70, 43, 40, 32, and 23 cases respectively.
Also, Akwa Ibom, Kwara, Gombe, Anambra, Benue, Kano, Oyo and Borno, recorded 21, 16, 12, 9, 9, 7, 6, and 3 cases respectively.
Meanwhile Bayelsa, Kastina and Ogun each recorded two cases while Jigawa recorded one case.
The disease agency said that the Country had tested a total of over 2,997,060 million samples from its roughly 200 million population.
