2027: Tinubu Hands Uba Sani Dual Party Roles

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, as a Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for All Progressives Congress (APC) outreach, engagement and mobilisation.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced on Tuesday in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement, Tinubu selected Sani for the strategic role in recognition of his leadership capacity and organisational competence.

“The governor’s responsibilities will include working in close collaboration with the director-general of Renewed Hope Ambassador and the party hierarchy, particularly the national chairman of the APC,” the statement said.

It added that the primary objective of the appointment is to ensure that Nigerians are fully aware of, understand and ultimately support the ruling party and its candidates at all levels ahead of the 2027 general election.

“The overall objective of your appointment is to ensure that the entire citizenry is aware of, understands, and ultimately supports our party and its candidates at all levels for broad national acceptance in the 2027 election.

“Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically,” the statement read.

The presidency further noted that Sani is expected to promote harmony, inclusiveness and strategic coordination across all levels of the party’s mobilisation and engagement structure.

He is also tasked with galvanising support for the party by promoting and disseminating its programmes, policies, milestones and achievements to strengthen public confidence and reinforce the Renewed Hope message nationwide.
