Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, has declared that President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term, highlighting his bold economic, social, and political reforms over the past two years.

Speaking while hosting members of the Tinubu Mandate Support Group, Abia branch, and the Club 17 Initiative on Saturday, Kalu praised the president’s progress and urged the South-East geopolitical zone to support his re-election in 2027.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a good product to be sold for a second term,” Kalu stated, adding that the president’s administration has provided the South-East with greater political relevance and inclusivity. He emphasized the importance of investing votes in Tinubu, noting, “Our business is to tell the people the good work of Tinubu’s administration.”

Kalu also reflected on his long-standing support for Tinubu, recalling that he was one of those who initially urged the president to run for office. He reiterated his commitment to stand by Tinubu, calling him a “progressive Nigerian who wants to leave a lasting legacy.”

Chairman of the Tinubu Mandate Support Group, Mr. Armstrong Okoronkwo, also praised Kalu’s efforts in the National Assembly and assured that the group is working to ensure Tinubu’s re-election. Okoronkwo stressed that the group’s focus is on spreading the president’s achievements, particularly in the South-East and Abia.
