2023: APC Fixes Nov 15, In Jos To Officially Flag-off Presidential Campaign

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has set November 15 as the official launch date for its presidential campaign rally in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The party is set to launch its presidential campaign after a series of delays, just weeks after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) approved the start of campaigns.

The ruling party had attempted to launch campaigns in the past, but disagreements over the composition of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) resulted in several postponements.

According to a timetable and schedule of activities released by the PCC on Wednesday, the party will launch its presidential campaign in Plateau state, with several town hall meetings planned with different stakeholders across the country from November 16-30.

According to the timetable, the party also scheduled International engagements between December 4-10, 2022.

On February 8, 2023, there will be a rally and musical concert in the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja while the Lagos rally which would be the last, would hold on February 13.

The party adds that the Council will use the period from February 12-24 for “election planning” before the 2023 general elections.
