Vote Uzodimma For Second Term –Sir Ambrose Obioha

An Ohanaeze Ndigbo chieftain, Sir Ambrose Obioha has urged Imo people to vote Governor Hope Uzodimma for a second term to continue developmental projects for the state.

Obioha popularly called Agaffe in political circles made the call in Owerri, the Imo state capital, while commending Uzodimma for the provision of digital skills for 20,000 Imo youths and laptops to 4000 saying the initiative has armed people with knowledge that is in high demand. He charged the governor to work harder during the second term even as he expressed optimism that Uzodimma having addressed extravagance and wastage, had invested funds into critical projects like roads, hospitals, and human capital development.

On roads, Obioha said the quality of roads constructed by Uzodimma was commendable saying journeys that took hours have now been reduced to less than 20 minutes.

“We have never had it so good, look at Orlu from Owerri which took about three hours is now about 20 minutes, and by that road, Uzodimma has opened up the place to development as now some people live in Orlu but work in Owerri. The Ekemele spot which made people ply Nwangele to connect Okigwe and waste about three hours has been fixed.

“Politics should not about destructive propaganda, we can commend the governor for the good things he has achieved like the conversion of the federal medical center Owerri to Federal University Teaching Hospital Owerri for medical students, and the Christian pilgrimage for a whooping 1000 people, which helped people to travel to Israel and even achieved their prayer petitions”, Obioha said.

Speaking on the Imo charter of equity, the former student activist commended Imo elders for signing the document to become binding on saying safe for it, Orlu zone will always use their numbers to win, saying the charter now forbids the zone until Owerri and Okigwe zones have had their turns.
