Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats Outraise Trump and GOP, Raising $652 Million in Three Months

Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party have significantly outpaced former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party in joint fundraising over the past three months, according to the latest campaign disclosure filings.

The Harris Victory Fund and Harris Action Fund, which are joint fundraising committees between the Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and state Democratic Party committees, raised a combined $652 million from July to September this year.

This fundraising total nearly doubles the $340 million raised by the Trump 47 Committee and the Trump National Committee, their Republican counterparts, during the same period.

As of the beginning of October, Harris and the Democrats had $112 million in cash on hand, compared to $77 million for Trump and the Republicans.

Both the Harris Victory Fund and the Trump 47 Committee have the capacity to collect contributions of up to $800,000 per donor, as the funds are divided between the campaign committee, the national party committee, and state party committees.

The figures do not include money raised exclusively by the individual campaigns.

Since Harris entered the presidential race in July, her campaign and the Democratic Party’s joint fundraising efforts have accumulated a total of $1 billion, according to sources.
