Usman Ododo officially assumed office as the Governor of Kogi State on Saturday, succeeding Yahaya Bello in a ceremony held at the Muhammadu Buhari Mini Stadium in Lokoja.
The swearing-in event, which drew prominent dignitaries including Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, marked the transition of power in the state.
Following the oath-taking by his deputy, Salifu Joel Oyibo, Ododo promptly took his own oath, solidifying his position as the new leader of Kogi State.
The ceremony symbolizes a new era for Kogi State under the leadership of Ododo, who now bears the responsibility of guiding the state towards progress and development.
