Rivers State Governor Nyeson Wike has said the transfer of power from the North to the South was the wisest decision for the country to move forward.

Wike who stated this yesterday at a book launch in Kaduna commended the APC governors for insisting that a southerner must succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Wike said: “I  recall Governor el-rufai was first to come out and tell the world that power should be transferred to the South for the unity of the country.” Wike of Rivers State praised El-rufai’s courage for telling the truth to power stating that he had the temerity and courage, to do so even to the ruling party he belonged.
