The Katsina State Government has announced that President Bola Tinubu will undertake a one-day working visit to the state on Friday, marking his first visit since assuming office in 2023.
Bala Salisu Zango, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, shared the details during a press briefing at the Katsina Government House Press Centre on Wednesday. The President is expected to inaugurate two major projects initiated by the Governor Dikko Radda-led administration.
The projects to be launched include the Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre and the Eastern Bypass, which stretches from Dutsin-ma Road, through Kano and Daura roads, and ends at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
Zango also highlighted that the visit would provide an opportunity for the state government to present pressing concerns, particularly security challenges in the region, directly to President Tinubu.
He called on residents to come out in large numbers to welcome the President and urged everyone to maintain peace and lawfulness during the visit.
