President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to Abuja today, September 16, to resume official duties after concluding his work vacation ahead of schedule.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced the development in a statement on Monday.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties,” Onanuga wrote.
Tinubu departed Nigeria on September 4 for France as part of his annual holiday, with an initial plan to split the period between France and the United Kingdom (UK).
While in Paris last week, the President held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The two leaders discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation and agreed to deepen the partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.
