President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 14, 2024.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale announced the appointment, highlighting Mrs. Walson-Jack’s extensive experience, having served as Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017 across various ministries.
Mrs. Walson-Jack will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024. President Tinubu thanked the outgoing Head of Service for her dedication and urged Mrs. Walson-Jack to perform her duties with innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to Civil Service regulations.
