Even an EF-0 tornado is still a tornado and extensive damage is possible. An EF-0 twister uprooted a tree and ripped up the sidewalk with it on Tulip Lane in Levittown.
Neighbors have been cutting the fallen tree up and they have more cleaning up to do Monday.
A total of three tornados swept across Long Island on Saturday afternoon, with the weakest EF-0 tornados reported in Levittown and East Islip. A stronger EF-1 tornado was reported further east in Shirley.
A Chipotle restaurant was badly damaged and a section of a roof was torn off of a shopping center.

The National Weather Service was on Long Island to survey the storm damage and confirmed the tornadoes on Sunday.
They say the first report of a touchdown was in Woodmere, where several trees and powerlines were down.
“The trees were going like this, they weren’t just bending, and they just snapped off. And then over there I seen that one go down, and that one go down, and my shed went with it,” a resident said.
A number of small planes were overturned at Brookhaven Calabro Airport.
Thankfully, most people took notice of the severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings. Residents went into their basements or interior rooms. There were no reports of any injuries.
Storms also brought quarter-size hail along with cloud-to-ground lightning as the line raced east at 50 mph.
