Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has put the club up for sale he is demanding at least the sum of £500m.
The Toffees are currently flying second bottom in the table after a 10-game winless run a result that made them sack their manager, Frank Lampard a few days ago.
The report has it that the British-Iranian billionaire is now set to sell the club following fierce criticism he and fellow board members are receiving from Toffees’ fans in recent weeks.
The owner is said to be seeking to recoup the funds he has invested in the Merseyside outfit”s new stadium – which is being built at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Some potential buyers have also indicated interest. Some star players such as Anthony Gordon and Amadou Onana have skipped training as they are trying to force their way out of the club. Chelsea and Arsenal are believed to be interested in both players.
