Rihanna is pregnant with her third child, a joyful revelation confirmed Monday night at the 2025 Met Gala by her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.

“It feels amazing,” Rocky told reporters on the red carpet. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up, and I’m glad everybody’s happy for us—’cause we definitely happy, you know,” he added, responding to speculation sparked by earlier media reports.

Rihanna arrived later in the evening, proudly displaying her baby bump in a pinstripe ensemble that fused elegance and edge. Her custom look featured a bolero jacket, tailored bodice, and button-accented maxi skirt, topped off with a kerchief tie, black-and-white heels, and a dramatic wide-brim hat. She kept her makeup and jewelry minimal, letting the statement outfit speak for itself.

Pregnancy rumors had swirled earlier in the day after paparazzi spotted the singer entering a Manhattan hotel in a fitted skirt and top, her midsection draped in a fur coat.

This will be the third child for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who are already parents to sons RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023.

In past interviews, Rihanna has spoken openly about how motherhood has transformed her. “Becoming a parent was the best thing that ever happened to us,” she told Interview in April 2024. “I let God lead and just let go.”

Describing Rocky as her greatest support, she added, “When someone sees you completely and believes in you—it’s a great feeling.”

She also shared glimpses of life with her two sons during a Harper’s Bazaar feature in February. “RZA is an empath. He’s magical, loves melody, books, and water,” she said. As for Riot: “He’s just hilarious. He wakes up squealing, ready to sing—he’s my alarm clock!”

With baby No. 3 on the way, the couple’s growing family is clearly a source of deep joy and inspiration.
