The official presidential declaration of Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has elicited a variety of reactions.
It was previously reported that the vice president spoke to Nigerians about his desire to run for President in 2023.
Osinbajo indicated in a tweet on Monday that his choice to run for president was motivated by a desire to give his fair share to the country’s progress.
Following the declaration, some Nigerians praised the vice president for entering the presidential race, while others derided him for being a stooge of President Muhammadu Buhari.
