Sokoto Governor Aminu Tambuwal withdrew from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary to support former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
According to him, the decision was taken after wide consultations with stakeholders across the country.
He appealed to his supporters and delegates to vote for Atiku. Atiku didn’t fall to laud the decision of his fellow party member while making statements after the victory that made him emerge as the party flag bearer for the second time since 2019.
