The decision to nominate Oba Olakulehin as the next Olubadan comes after careful deliberation and consensus among the esteemed members of the Olubadan in Council.
The nomination of Oba Olakulehin, who is the designated Olubadan, marks a pivotal moment in the traditional leadership of Ibadanland, as he is set to ascend the revered throne.
The next step in the process involves forwarding Oba Olakulehin’s nomination to the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for his official approval.
Once approved by Governor Makinde, Oba Olakulehin will assume the mantle of leadership as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, succeeding the incumbent monarch.
