The court was due to rule on the case on Thursday, but the Judge in charge of the case, Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, was away, thus a new date for the trial was set.

According to the report, the trial has been rescheduled for Monday, June 20, and Tuesday, June 21.
Recall that the federal government charged the late gospel singer’s spouse with 23 counts of domestic violence and homicide.
Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu died in April 2022, reportedly as a consequence of a prolonged assault by her husband, who had pleaded not guilty to all of the charges included in the charge brought by the Federal Government against him.
Osinachi Nwachukwu’s death generated uproar as her family claimed she was subjected to marital violence by her violent husband.
The late singer would be buried at her father’s compound on June 25, in Abia state.
