This comes amid the saga of the leading monarch’s divorce from Queen Silekunola Naomi.
Olori Naomi announced the dissolution of her three-year marriage to the Ooni in a post on her Instagram page on Thursday, claiming that it was due to irreconcilable differences rather than the monarch’s plan to marry another queen.
The evangelist said that she attempted to make the marriage work, but that the monarch’s public image and his true self were at odds.
However, the palace of Ooni of Ife in a reaction to the separation of Queen Silekunola Naomi from Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II during an interview with the Punch, Ooni’s spokesman, Moses Olafare, claimed that the social media pages of the Queen were possibly hacked and a probe of the alleged hack is being carried out.
Olafare stated that the royal couple is still together, adding that separation in marriage cannot be done by one of the parties.
However, away from the divorce saga, the Ooni has now charged Nigerians to always look out for their neighbors particularly those who may be going through hard times.
The Monarch in a statement on Saturday through his Facebook page wished everyone peace, joy, and love in the yuletide season.
He wrote: “I join all and sundry in the joyous occasion of this particular season. As we all know it’s one of joy, celebrations, and a deep reflection on what Olódùmarè has done through the year.
“As we do take time to celebrate with our families and loved ones, I implore you to reach out to your neighbors, especially those who haven’t had it as easy through the year.
“It is my prayer that you’ll continue to find the the the the the strength to celebrate in joy, peace, and abounding love which is the bedrock of this special occasion.
“Royal blessings from the House of Oduduwa and compliments of the season.”
