A nursing mother who was caught with other criminal suspects admitted to being in charge of the gang’s arsenal.
At the DSS headquarters in Akure, Ondo, the suspects were paraded.
The suspects were found with computers, cash, locally manufactured pistols, and other lethal weaponry.
Mr Jonathan Kure, the state’s Director of DSS, said that the gang specialized in terrorizing the state, particularly by kidnapping toddlers.
He went on to say that the gang’s sixth member had been shot and transported to the hospital.
Intelligence findings revealed, according to the DSS Director, that the suspects were the only kidnapping gang that specialized in toddlers.
