Oladimeji Yomi Olanrewaju has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner in Ogun State by the Nigerian Police Force.
Frank Mba, who was recently elevated to the position of Assistant Inspector General Police (AIG), will be replaced by him.
Recall that in February of this year, Mba began serving as the Ogun State Commissioner of Police.
However, in a statement provided to journalists in Abeokuta on Wednesday, police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed that Olanrewaju is assuming the position of a new CP in the state.
He claimed that the new CP, a history and political science graduate, had been trained at the Police Academy, Kaduna Annexe since joining the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1990.
