Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced a cabinet reshuffle, reassigning key commissioners across ministries.
In a statement issued Monday and signed by his Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, the governor approved the following changes:
- Barr. Seun Ashamu, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, moves to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
- Hon. Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, takes over the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport.
- Prof. Dahud Shangodoyin, Commissioner for Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, is redeployed to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
- Prof. Solihu Adelabu, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, shifts to the Ministry of Establishments and Training.
- Hon. Segun Olayiwola, Commissioner for Establishments and Training, assumes leadership of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The reshuffle takes immediate effect, with the governor urging the commissioners to continue serving with loyalty and dedication.
