London Police Probe Antisemitic Arson Attack on Jewish Ambulance Service

Police in London are investigating a suspected arson attack that targeted four ambulances belonging to Hatzalah in the early hours of Monday.

The Metropolitan Police said the incident is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime. Emergency responders extinguished the fires, and no injuries were reported. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attack, describing it as “deeply shocking” and reaffirming that antisemitism has no place in British society.

Police Superintendent Sarah Jackson said officers are actively investigating and believe three suspects may have been involved. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and analyzing videos circulating online as part of their inquiry.

“We know this incident will cause significant concern within the community,” Jackson said, adding that officers remain at the scene while urgent investigations continue.

No arrests have been made so far.
