Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has approved the implementation of the new negotiated minimum monthly pension to N12,000 in the state.

This was revealed by the state’s Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila on Thursday. He said a circular indicating the pension increase for pensioners would be disseminated to all relevant stakeholders for immediate implementation with effect from January 2023.
