Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged residents of the state to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing the Easter season as a time for reconciliation, peace, and collective progress.
Speaking in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Fubara described Easter as a sacred period that calls for healing and unity. “Easter is a sacred season of reconciliation and unity. It is a time when the peace of Christ dwells richly in our hearts, restoring relationships, comforting the afflicted, feeding the hungry, and healing the brokenhearted,” he stated.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to good governance despite ongoing political tensions, Fubara said:
“I reiterate my unwavering commitment to delivering good governance to the resilient and dignified people of Rivers State.”
He also called on citizens to remain hopeful and support the president’s vision for national development.
“I call on the good people of Rivers State to continue to support and align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of our dear President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while looking forward to a better tomorrow.”
Fubara stressed that sustainable transformation would only come through unity and collective resolve:
“The transformation we all desire is achievable when we act together as one people under God, committed to peace, unity, and progress.”
