France Achieves Historic 14-0 Victory Against Gibraltar In UEFA EURO 2024 Group Match

In an outstanding performance, France secured a historic 14-0 win against Gibraltar in their UEFA EURO 2024 Group Match held in Nice on Saturday. 
This remarkable victory set a new record for the biggest win in European Championship qualifying and marked France’s largest-ever triumph in international football.
Nine different French players contributed to the impressive scoreline, emphasizing the team’s depth and strength.
The match commenced with an early own goal in the third minute, and France continued their dominance throughout the first half, showcasing goals from Marcus Thuram, debutant Warren Zaïre-Emery, Kylian Mbappé, Jonathan Clauss, and Kingsley Coman.
Gibraltar faced further challenges when Ethan Santos received a red card in the 18th minute, reducing them to 10 players. France capitalized on this advantage, with Adrien Rabiot and Coman scoring rapidly, bringing the score to 10-0.
Ousmane Dembélé added another goal before halftime, while Mbappé secured a hat-trick with two goals in the second half. Olivier Giroud contributed two goals in the closing stages, sealing the remarkable 14-0 victory.
This outstanding display of attacking prowess not only surpassed France’s previous record for the most significant winning margin but also established a new European record for the most substantial win in the history of the Euro tournament.
The victory serves as ideal preparation for France as they look ahead to the upcoming European Championship.
