FG Seeks Private Sector Partnership to Boost Creative Economy

The Federal Government, through the Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has urged the private sector to collaborate with the government to harness Nigeria’s vast talent pool for economic development. Speaking in Lagos on Wednesday, Musawa outlined plans to boost the contribution of the arts and creative industries to the nation’s GDP, emphasizing strategic partnerships, skill development, and job creation.

Musawa emphasized Nigeria’s potential to become a global cultural hub, encouraging investment in underutilized visual arts and theatre subsectors. She also reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting young talent, ensuring no part of the creative sector is left behind.
