The Nigerian government, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, has authorized N92.123 billion for the building of a second runway at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The fund was approved on Wednesday during Buhari’s weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, told statehouse reporters shortly after the meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja that the total amount will be shared over a number of projects at the airport.
