A former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to the victory of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu in the Saturday’s election.

Fayose congratulated Tinubu on his emergence as Nigeria’s next president also in this tweet Fayose advised the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar to accept the outcome of the general election. Stressing that there is always another day, Fayose said Atiku should accept defeat in the interest of Nigerians.

In a tweet, he wrote: “I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his election as the next President of Nigeria. “As the presidential election comes to an end, I urge other contestants, especially Atiku Abubakar to accept the outcome in the overall interest of our country. There will always be another day.”
