Dr. Isa Abdulmumin has been officially appointed as the apex bank’s substantive director of Corporate Communications by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Recall Abdulmumin was appointed the department’s interim director in February. He replaced Mr. Osita Nwanisobi, who stepped down after turning 60.
Abdulmumin formerly served as the department’s deputy director for corporate communications.
He has been a dedicated CBN staff member for several years and is reputed to be a hardworking, go-getter, efficient professional and media relations expert.
Dr. Abdulmumin’s appointment comes as the bank is pushing a number of initiatives to guarantee that businesses in all economic sectors receive support, including the new redesigned naira notes, the eNaira, and the other intervention schemes.
He has extensive experience in corporate reporting and strategic marketing communication, in addition to having completed numerous high-level local and international training programmes.
