Buhari Swear-In Six New Perm Sec. Into Office On Wednesday 

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday swore in six newly elected Federal Permanent Secretaries into office.
The new appointment by President Buhari before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) is coming a few days before the end of his tenure.
They are Richard Pheelangwah (Taraba State), Oloruntola Olufemi Michael (Ogun State), Yakubu Adam Kofar-Mata (Kano State), Esuabana Nko Asanye (Cross River State), Lamuwa Adamu Ibrahim (Gombe), and Adam Mahmud Kambari (Borno State).
Those in attendance at the commencement of the meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa Abuja, were the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; Head of the Federal Civil Service, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan; and the National Security Council (NSA), Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (rted).
Also in attendance are the Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed; Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Information and Culture Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; and that of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Musa Bello.
Others include Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment; Professor Ali Pantami, Communications and Digital Economy; Abubakar Aliyu, Power; and Dr. Chris Ngige, Labour and Employment.
Yemi-Esan, the head of the federation’s civil service, urged the new permanent secretaries to give their all in carrying out their responsibilities in a speech to the State House Correspondence.
Some of the Permanent Secretaries who spoke expressed gratitude for the procedure that led to their appointment and pledged to carry out their responsibilities with diligence.
