Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, and vice president Kashim Shettima met on Saturday during a wedding in Abuja.
Since their legal battle over the 2023 General Elections started, the duo have only occasionally met.
The victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), for which Shettima ran on a joint ticket with President Bola Tinubu, is currently under attack by Atiku, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate.
But at the union of Ikramullah Jamal Arabi and Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu. Both men put aside their political differences and made small talk.
Among those who attended the wedding which took place at the Al-Nur Mosque in the nation’s capital were Maj General Babagana Monguno (rtd), former National Security Adviser, Prof Ali Isa Pantami, immediate Past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy; and other prominent personalities.
