APC Dismisses ‘One-Man Show’ Claims, Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusivity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected claims that it operates as a “one-man show,” insisting that the party remains committed to inclusivity and structured leadership.

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai recently criticized the APC, alleging that it has deviated from its core values and failed to convene key party meetings. However, following the party’s national caucus meeting on Tuesday, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma dismissed the accusations, maintaining that the APC is united, strong, and fully supportive of the government.

“APC is a very large political party with executives at all levels. What is the meaning of inclusivity when all six geopolitical zones are represented?” Uzodimma stated.

He highlighted that the party’s internal democratic processes have driven its electoral successes, further emphasizing APC’s achievements in revenue generation, infrastructure development, and social change.

The meeting, presided over by President Bola Tinubu, was his first caucus gathering since assuming office in May 2023.
