APC Chairman Ganduje Denies 2027 Presidential Bid

Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has denied rumors about his potential run for the presidency in 2027.
The speculation emerged after posters featuring Ganduje and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as presidential and vice-presidential candidates appeared on social media on August 18.
In a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Ganduje dismissed the posters as false and malicious. The statement read, “The circulating poster claiming that Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is running for the presidency in 2027 with Hope Uzodimma as his running mate is completely unfounded and a deliberate falsehood.”
The APC suggested that these rumors may have been spread by the Kwankwassiyya movement to create division between Ganduje and President Bola Tinubu.
The statement reaffirmed Ganduje’s loyalty to President Tinubu and his support for the President’s vision for Nigeria’s future. Ganduje has urged the public to ignore the fabricated claims and avoid sharing unverified information.
