Socio-political activist and a top campaigner of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Aisha Yesufu, said the role she would play if the former Anambra State governor wins the 2023 election, “does not require an office”.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Yesufu hinted that if Labour Party proponents achieve their dream and Obi becomes president, her role would be advisory, adding that the next president must be willing to concentrate on important tasks though. “One can work without being in office. The role I would play InshaAllah does not require an office. It just requires a leader that wants to hear how he should cut the crap and focus on the work that needs to be done,” Yesufu said in response to a supporter of Obi who said after the 2023 election, she will “collect our office”.
