President Tinubu Accepts Spokeperson’s Indefinite Leave of Absence

President Bola Tinubu has accepted the decision of Chief Ajuri Ngelale, his official spokesperson, to proceed on an indefinite leave of absence due to personal and medical issues affecting his immediate family. Ngelale announced his decision on Saturday, stating that he had submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff’s office.

In a statement released on Saturday night, the presidency confirmed that Tinubu received the memo and expressed gratitude for Ngelale’s service. The statement noted that the president fully understands and sympathizes with Ngelale’s reasons for the leave, extending prayers and best wishes to him and his family during this challenging time.

President Tinubu also acknowledged Ngelale’s dedicated service, particularly his contributions to national discourse, climate action, and other key initiatives. The president hopes for Ngelale’s speedy recovery and full return to health while respecting his family’s privacy during this period.
