Gov. Makinde Unveils 10th House of Assembly’s Legislative Agenda

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has unveiled the legislative agenda for the 10th House of Assembly.
The governor presented this agenda following his State of the State address at a special sitting marking the Assembly’s first anniversary.
Governor Makinde praised the legislative agenda, describing it as a positive development that will provide clear direction for the Assembly’s objectives. He noted that the agenda would further enhance the activities and programs of the 10th Assembly.
“I am happy to unveil the Legislative Agenda for the 10th House of Assembly. This is a good development for members of the Assembly under the leadership of Adebo Ogundoyin. It outlines what the Assembly plans to do and achieve, and how it plans to go about achieving them,” said Makinde. “I commend the Assembly for working in tandem with the agenda of the present administration, which is aimed at enhancing the living standards of the people.”
Assembly Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin expressed gratitude to the governor, explaining that the Legislative Agenda was designed to create people-oriented laws, resolutions, and effective oversight. “We are happy to capture our legislative priorities and goals in one document. This is the direction the House intends to take to achieve its set goals. It will assist us to take our legislative assignments seriously,” Ogundoyin noted.
The unveiling of this agenda is seen as a step towards more structured and goal-oriented legislative activities in Oyo State, aligning with the broader objectives of the state administration to improve the quality of life for its residents.
