Governor Samuel Ortom one of the aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of Benue State, has said Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election is “a man that can help deliver Nigeria from the challenges that we have”.

As reported by POLITICS NIGERIA that Ortom said this on Sunday when Obi visited Benue State and lauded the former Anambra State governor’s compassion. Obi had visited one of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in Benue State to celebrate Christmas with displaced persons. “Because I have seen capacity, I have faith and hope, I have seen someone that can bring the required equity, justice, and fairness that some of us have been pursuing since I became governor in 2015, if I were not in PDP, I would have been following you all over the place to canvass votes for you.

“But because I’m in PDP, I’m still telling Nigerians that this is a man that can help deliver this country from the challenges that we have,” Ortom said.
