With just 47 days to the general elections, the Director of New Media for the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Femi Fani-Kayode, revealed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, may be sick.
It was reported by POLITICS NIGERIA that there were indications on Sunday that Atiku was flown out of the country for urgent medical attention. An online tabloid had notified that the former Vice President was flown on Sunday from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to London, United Kingdom for treatment. Reacting to his absence from Nigeria, Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), insinuated that the PDP candidate of unserious. “Atiku wants to be our President yet he left Nigeria BEFORE last Christmas and won’t be back till January 11th! All this tomfoolery during a presidential campaign and six weeks before elections? Is he serious at all? “He is either very SICK or IRRESPONSIBLE or BOTH.
